Remembering Michael Lacy, Loving Father
Donation protected

Due to the recent passing of my father, Michael Allen Lacy, our emotions are running high and so are the funeral costs. He had been bravely battling brain cancer for the past couple of years, and things were looking promising until a month ago when everything took a dramatic turn for the worse. My father grew up in Fresno, California, where he became a loyal fan of the LA Rams, Dodgers, and Lakers. As an adult, he proudly served our country in the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer on board the USS John F. Kennedy and the USS Theodore Roosevelt.
Once retired, he explored various career paths until he discovered his passion for HVAC. He became a certified mechanic and worked for various companies before starting his own one-man business, Mimi’s Mechanical, named after his beloved wife. He tinkered and toiled until he couldn’t anymore. Despite his best efforts to plan for after-death expenses, the brain cancer ultimately overcame him. He leaves behind a devoted wife, two loving granddaughters, a bright grandson, and two caring sons.
The wonderful folks at the VA will cover the burial, but the funeral costs are our responsibility. Any help is greatly appreciated. Any remaining funds will support our family moving forward. Once again, I, Brian Lacy—his son—am deeply grateful for your support.
