Remembering Michael Brady

Hello,

My name is Matt and for the last seven years I've had the privilege to work alongside Mike Brady in downtown Portland. He was a diligent worker who could get along with anyone. He loved talking about his podcasts and catching a nap during his lunch break. Mike always had a clever response to match his wry smile. Most importantly, he loved his family more than anything and would do whatever it took to make them happy.

While riding the TriMet train home on Friday 3/29, Mike was the victim of an unprovoked attack that took his life. His loss leaves an undeniable hole in the hearts of his peers that is nothing compared to the grief his wife and young son are feeling.

The brutal shock of this incident still stings however I believe that there is still good in the core of our community. I am reaching out to everyone who was lucky enough to get to work with Mike, his friends and loved ones, and the greater Portland community to donate toward helping lift the financial burden his loss has placed on his loved ones.

This terrible incident has already taken so much from them. The least we can do is work together to support the people that our friend loved so deeply.

All funds donated to this account will go directly to Mike’s family. We are still working out the details of a memorial but that will absolutely be communicated when the information is available.
