Remembering Michael: A Tribute to His Life

The family of Michael Scott Foeldi Sr regrets to announce his passing on the morning of Sunday, June 23rd. Michael passed away peacefully in his home after his brief battle with Multiple Myeloma blood cancer. He was born June 16, 1960, in Harbor City, CA. Resident of Ione for 30+ years. He enjoyed his normal routine with his family; good food, going to the movies, Harley Davidson, a great laugh or hilarious prank, guns, Trump, and a good conspiracy theory. He enjoyed the Wild West vibe walking the streets of old town Folsom and Virginia City and an occasional whisky. Michael retired from the Department of Corrections from Mule Creek State prison in December of 2022.
Michael will be lovingly remembered by his fiancée Heather Ellis; Mother of his three children; Nadia, children; Sarah, Kristina and Michael Jr., grandchildren; Aliyah, Logan, Jaxon, Hunter, Ellieana, Daisy, Steven, Oscar, and Daniel. Siblings; Michelle, Joe, Maureen, Christopher, Cathy, Geriann, Mary, and Suzanne. And numerous other family members and friends. A visitation and prayer service will be held at Sunset view cemetery in Jackson, dates to be announced. Fly high Foeldi King we love you!! One more time Foeldi… “Fire up the chopper!!”
