Remembering Mel Garcia — Comedian, Uncle, Dodgers Fan. Truly One of a Kind Mel could walk into any room and have everyone laughing within minutes. Whether he was on stage, cheering his heart out for his beloved Los Angeles Dodgers, or relaxing at home with his hero & his dogs, Mel had a rare gift - every gathering was funnier, every moment brighter, and every person luckier for knowing him.

We lost Mel suddenly and without much warning. His passing has left a hole in our family. Along with the heartbreak of losing someone so irreplaceable, we are now facing the difficult reality that no financial arrangements were left in place — and we need the support of the people who loved him.

A FAREWELL WORTHY OF MEL Mel lived a life full of laughter, love, late innings, and loving friends/family. He deserves to be honored with the same warmth and dignity he gave to everyone around him. We hope to provide a beautiful memorial service and a peaceful resting place where family and friends can always come to visit and remember him.
