It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved sister, Shameka Hogan, who left us far too soon on August 8rd, 2025. Her passing has left an unimaginable void in our lives and a deep sorrow in our hearts.

Meka was a kind, generous, and loving soul who touched everyone she met. She was always the first to help others, offer a smile, or lend a hand without hesitation. Her warmth and light will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. She loved her nieces and nephews more than anything in this world.

Unfortunately, she did not have health insurance or life insurance, and our family is now facing the financial burden of covering her funeral and burial expenses. We are planning to have a service in Richmond Hill, GA and Sioux Falls, SD. During this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out to our community for support.
