With broken hearts, we share the devastating loss of our beloved son, Mazi Simmons, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at just 7 years old.

Born on December 26, 2017, Mazi was full of joy, life, and laughter. He brought sunshine into every room with his energy, his sweet spirit, and that unforgettable smile.

Mazi was truly one of a kind. Whether he was dancing, striking his signature peace sign, or just being his silly, playful self, he always found a way to make everyone around him feel joy. He loved life and he loved deeply.

This tragic accident has left his mother, Kandice Grace, facing unimaginable grief once again. Mazi was her second child, and heartbreakingly, not her first loss. She also lost her daughter Jordice, and now she is enduring the unthinkable pain of saying goodbye to another piece of her heart.

As a family, we are doing all we can to support Kandice and honor Mazi's life with the love and beauty he deserves. We are asking for help with funeral and memorial expenses, to lift some of the weight off Kandice's shoulders during this incredibly painful time.
