On June 20, 2022 Manuel Cervin Jr. aka “Manny” passed away suddenly from a brief illness.
Manuel was born October 27, 1959. Manny grew up in Sacrameto and was a huge part of Sacs music scene. As many of you know Manny was the original bass player for the Midnight Players which was established in 1977. He played at thousands of music festivals, car shows, opened for several Old School bands, he even appeared on Good Day Sacrameto. Manuel would come alive when he held a bass. He owned the stage and played for the crowds. People were drawn to his kindness and energy.
Manuel’s hospitalization and passing was unexpected and we are unprepared for the medical bills and funeral cost. We would like to ask for donations to help defray costs to bury our beloved Father and Husband.
Manuel leaves behind his wife Maria, son Manuel, daughter Marisela, mother Gloria. Sisters Laura, Cristina and Denise. His grandchildren....He also leaves behind many relatives and friends that love him dearly.
Manuel was a brother in Christ and in good spirits when he fell ill. May you rest In peace Manny, you are loved and deeply missed.
