Mama Tsehaynesh Abebe has passed away at the young age of 65 after a very hard, but strong battle with cancer.

Born November 29, 1957, Mama Tsehaynesh raised 10 children in Ethiopia before coming to visit her children in the United States. While tending to her children and grandchildren in Phoenix, Arizona, she was sadly diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer and was given a short time to live.

Despite this news, she remained a source of strength and joy for all of those around her, and continued to be deeply involved in her family's life.

After a short, but mighty battle, Mama Tsehaynesh passed away on February 26, 2022 peacefully at her home with the love of her children, grandchildren and other family members present.

Now, the family is seeking to provide a worthy burial with the funds gathered. We are deeply grateful for your contribution in memorializing Mama Tsehaynesh and her beautifully lived life.
