In Loving Memory of Lysa Hieber

We are heartbroken to share that our beloved friend, devoted mother and grandmother and fierce community advocate, Lysa Hieber, passed away suddenly the morning of August 2, 2025.

Lysa served in the Army for 4yrs right after high school and later became a nurse in the Air Force retiring as a lieutenant colonel, a lifelong volunteer with the Red Cross, and a relentless force of care and compassion. Most recently, she had been on the ground every day supporting families displaced by the devastating July floods in Central Texas. Rain or shine, Lysa showed up — delivering supplies, comforting survivors, and making sure no one was left behind.

She was unstoppable. Whether serving her country, comforting a neighbor, or responding to disaster after disaster, Lysa led with love and lived in service.

With her families permission we are raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial costs.

Every contribution honors the legacy of someone who gave her all, right up to the very end.
