On the 19th of October, we tragically lost a beautiful soul.
We want to give Lorenz the memorial he deserves, to honour his memory and say our last goodbyes. We would appreciate any donations to help cover the cost of Lorenz's funeral and aid his family in this difficult time. We aim to raise $25,000 in order to be able to fund the funeral service, and any money left over will be given to the family. (UPDATE: We have talked to Lorenz’s family and funeral costs have been taken care of by TAC. Instead the funds will go towards charity and supporting his siblings as per his family's wishes, as this is what Lorenz would have wanted. Lorenz’s mother, Maricris, is the beneficiary and will be withdrawing the money.)
For those of us who were blessed to know Lorenz, knew he was the most kind-hearted, generous, and selfless young man. Despite having passed at only 19 years of age, Lorenz did more than most do in a lifetime. He always made it a priority to give back to the less fortunate through selfless acts such as sponsoring a disadvantaged child, donating to countless charities, regularly donating blood, organising a bushfire relief campaign, volunteering for food drives, etc.
Lorenz was someone who always put others first. Whatever you needed, Lorenz was there without question. It is now our time to be there for him.
