Support for the Keen Family: Honoring Lisa’s Legacy
Donation protected
On March 2nd, 2025 we unexpectedly lost our beloved Lisa, a mother, grandmother, sister and so much more. Lisa passed away peacefully at MUSC hospital near her home in South Carolina, surrounded by her loving family. Lisa loved her family more than anything and her world revolved around her husband Kevin, her children Amanda, Timothy and Brandyn, her grandchildren Nick, Cayden, Autumn and Carter, a sister Patricia (Gilman) Staples, a brother James Gilman, a daughter in-law Carissa Hannah and her loving dog Bella of 9. Lisa was quick to make friends and had an impact on everyone she met. Lisa was the biggest ray of sunshine and would do anything and everything to help out others, it’s what made her happy. She spent her life caring for others as a homemaker, raising her children, and caring for her elderly parents. She loved making crafts, sewing and jewelry making. She also devoted much time as a volunteer for the Salvation Army helping her community.
Lisa was born in York Maine, and lived in Maine most of her life. Lisa and her husband moved down to South Carolina where they were blessed with an amazing team of doctors to be there with Lisa. Her husband is parting ways with South Carolina and moving back to Maine to be with his family. All proceeds will go towards to the cost of arrangements and the move for Kevin to return to his family in Maine.
Arrangements are made by A Simple Service Burial and Cremation. For those who wish to share memories, condolences, or messages of love, a tribute wall has been set up by A Simple Service at www.asimpleservice.com. Your kind words and memories are deeply appreciated as we remember and celebrate Lisa's life.
Lisa will forever be in our hearts, and it’s not a goodbye, it’s until time will bring us back together again.
