We want to take this time to thank all of you for your support these past few weeks. Our family is grateful for all of it. And we think it is now the time to bring awareness to what happened to our daughter Laila.

My daughter Laila Daniels has been killed by her boyfriend. Her boyfriend portrayed himself to be generous, kind, soft, and loving. But if he was those things how could he shoot and killed someone who cared for him? That someone was my daughter, Laila Daniels. Now instead of helping Laila look for an apartment that she saved a down payment for or prepare her to get CDL, we planned for her funeral.

Please everyone be careful who you let in. Be cautious of who you trust. Someone who you might think is kind and loving might turn around viciously shoot and kill you like Laila’s boyfriend did to her.
