One of the bright spots in this chaotic world, Lacie Cole was a powerhouse. She brought joy and laughter into any room she walked into. Lacie was an advocate, a teacher, a mother, a wife, a daughter, and a friend all of us could brag about. She was one of those bright stars that we hoped would burn on for years. Tragically, Lacie passed away in her sleep on the night of January 8-9, 2021. She left behind her 1-year-old daughter Ruby and her husband, Dan. We know that Dan and Ruby, combined with Logan, Robin, and Linda, are all navigating this sudden loss together. As a community, we would like to lessen that load in any way we can.


With this GoFundme, the proceeds will go directly to the family to use in whatever way they need. Many of you have asked about scholarships, Ruby's education, and funeral expenses. With these funds, the family can support whichever endeavor they choose to remember Lacie Cole's life. As a community, we cannot begin to understand their pain and loss. Still, we can give what we can to remember a genuinely magnificent individual who touched all of our lives in many ways.
