Remembering Kylie: A Kind Soul Lost Too Soon

Dear friends and family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Kylie, who has passed away unexpectedly at such a young age. Kylie was a friend to everyone she came across. She had a heart of gold, and if she happened to be a part of your life, it was automatically better. She passed away from Addison's Disease, a rare autoimmune disorder that affects the adrenal glands from producing sufficient amounts of the hormone cortisol and sometimes aldosterone, too. When the body is under stress or fighting an infection, this deficiency of cortisol can result in a life threatening Addisonian crisis characterized by low blood pressure.

She also fought her battle with Hashimoto's (a disorder that happens when the immune system attacks the thyroid), which made it worse for her to fight during her recent exposure to illness.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for your support to help cover the funeral and memorial expenses.

Kylie was a beloved friend, sister, girlfriend, daughter, niece, aunt, co-worker, and family member who touched so many lives with her kindness, humor, and love. We want to give her the farewell she deserves and ensure her family is not burdened by the financial stress of these unexpected costs.
