Remembering Kerri April: A Mother's journey cut short
Donation protected
It is with heavy heart that I announce that Kerri April (LaPalme) of Attleboro, MA, class of '95, recently passed away... another soul taken from us much too soon, leaving behind her two young boys. I am her niece, Sadie Ouellette LaCombe.
I created this GoFundMe page hoping to help our family pay for end-of-life services. we would like to have a small celebration of life for the friends and family of this courageous woman. Who has spent the last couple years struggling to keep her family together while tirelessly trying to keep her illness to herself. Not wanting to be a burden on those around her. She fought long and hard through many ups and downs and finally was just too tired to continue. We know that she is no longer suffering but now comes the hard part of letting her go and saying goodbye. I know many of you were not aware of her struggle. Kerri was too proud of a woman to let anyone know how sick she was. It is for this reason I would like to get as many people together to celebrate Kerri's life. Sadly with no one truly realizing how sick she was we were unprepared for her passing.
The family has just recently laid her mother Claire LaPalme to Rest this past year. So it has been a sad time indeed.
Won't you please help by making a small donation so that we may have her cremated.
We know times are tough for everyone right now, so any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. When the goal is reached, the family will announce when and where the celebration of life will be held, and all are welcome to attend to share stories and memories of Ms. Kerri April and close the final chapter of her story.
