Remembering Ken: A Tribute to a Loving Dad
Donation protected
It is with our deepest sorrows that we announce that our dad, Ken Wilker, has passed away. He passed to be with our heavenly father on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
Our sweet dad had the most genuine heart and the most caring spirit. He always brought joy wherever he went.
We will forever miss the deep belly laughs, lots of family game nights and dinners, and vacations with the family. His infectious laugh would fill a room, and his sarcastic spirit always made those around him laugh.
Our dad truly enjoyed being outside hiking and enjoying the scenery. His favorite place to be was Bend, Oregon or hiking around Smith Rock to Monkey Face Rock. While he was home he loved hiking around the golf course to find forgotten golf balls.
His passion for sports was profound. No matter the game, Dad always cheered enthusiastically. As a child, he cherished collecting autographs from legendary athletes like Walter Payton, Joe Morgan, and many others. This love for sports persisted into adulthood, and he was always eager to attend any sporting event, big or small.
He had found a passion for traveling in the past couple of years. He made his way to many countries outside of the United States. Some of his favorites were Mexico with his kids, Fiji with his company, Maverik, and Jamaica with his girlfriend, Michelle.
Nothing was better than spending time with Dad. We can’t wait to be with our guardian angel again one day. Say hi to Grandma!
We love you forever!
