It is with a heavy heart that I reach out for help during this incredibly challenging time. Our family is mourning the unexpected loss of the children’s father, Keith Forbush. This tragedy has left us in a place of great sorrow, and we are struggling to navigate the permeance of life without him.

I would never normally ask for help in this way, but the children and I need to travel from Alaska to Colorado for Keith's memorial. It is important for the children to attend and say their final goodbyes, to hear stories about their father, and to find some peace through closure. Being surrounded by Keith’s family during this time will offer all of us the support and comfort we all need. The last several years have been incredibly difficult for them and they could really use the support to find some kind of peace during this tragedy.

The funds raised will help cover the costs of flights, a rental car, and other essential expenses. Any leftover funds will be used to provide keepsake items for the children to remember their father, as well as placed in savings for their future. These keepsakes will be a meaningful reminder of their dad as they continue to grow.
