Remembering Keisha Andrews
Donation protected
On the morning of Dec 6th, 2019, a tragic accident took the life of Keisha Andrews, devastating her family & friends. Keisha was just 41 years old & leaves behind her partner, Yvon, 2 young sons, Noah & Evan as well as her sweet pup, Olive.
There are no words to describe the loss of a friend & colleague taken much too soon. The wings on our Ornge logo take on a whole new meaning today. We have all lost an extraordinary friend & outstanding colleague who radiated warmth & love, effortlessly. Keisha was exceptionally skilled & kind with an infectious, charismatic personality. She dedicated herself professionally for more than a decade, primarily to the front-line staff of Ornge, with the formidable task of ensuring all resources (helicopters, planes and land ambulances) across this vast province were staffed. She was the embodiment of fierce energy & commitment, possessing the ability to build relationships & a generosity of spirit that was obvious to all who spent time with her. We were all fortunate & blessed to have known Keisha. The loss is profound & felt province-wide, but not as much as her family will feel for a lifetime.
This account has been organized in order to celebrate Keisha’s life, one dedicated to the service of others and to honour her memory. She has left behind her sons, whom she spoke often of, always with love & always with pride. While this marks the end of her journey, it is only the beginning of a challenging road ahead for her grieving family. They must now move forward in her absence, without the financial security offered by her determination, inexhaustible will & strong work ethic. This is the only worry we can alleviate at present. They will require the love & support of her friends and community. Your contributions will be greatly appreciated & graciously received.
All proceeds raised from this campaign will ensure Keisha’s children are able to cope with their immediate financial needs for funeral costs, basic essentials & longer term expenses as an investment in their future; to see that they have the opportunities Keisha worked so hard to provide for. Please donate what you can & even if you aren’t able, please share this link in order to reach anyone who can assist the Andrews/Lagrandeur family. Thank you to everyone in advance for your kindness, generosity & continuous support of this wonderful family.
Rest now in our hearts forever, Keisha. Gone, but never forgotten.
