Remembering Karen Danielle Lord: A Light Gone Too Soon
Donation protected
Karen was a burst of light in every room she entered; you couldn't help but smile in her presence. Karen was only 39 years old and was a single, hardworking mother of two boys, Christian, age 20, and Kayden, age 11. She worked hard to give them all she could for a good life. Karen was a proud meme of her granddaughter Olive, age 2, who lived with her. Olive had her meme wrapped around her finger; they had such a beautiful bond. She absolutely adored her granddaughter.
I am Karen's little sister, Stephanie, her only surviving sibling, as we lost our little brother in Hurricane Harvey in 2017 and our mother in a house fire in 2004. Between just me, my father, and her son, we need help to raise funeral expenses to lay Karen to rest. Karen was headed home after leaving a friend's on April 17, 2025, when she lost control of her vehicle, crossing into oncoming traffic in the opposite lane. With a heavy heart, I am sad to say, Karen was pronounced deceased at the scene. This was a tragedy we never thought to prepare for, and our family is completely devastated. Any donations that can be given will be tremendously appreciated and will help us more than ever in this horrible nightmare we cannot wake up from. Please help us give Karen the ceremony that she deserves and lay her to rest to reunite with her mother, Margaret, and brother, DJ. Our family thanks you for all your help and support. God bless you all.
