Remembering Kara with Your Support

Today, I put my cat Kara down. We recently found out after many vet appointments that she was diabetic. We were trying Bexacat as a treatment, and after a week, it looked like she was improving. However, on the 11th, she became lethargic, with mild ups but mostly downs.

We took her to the vet many times to figure out why she was deteriorating, and dirty as a result of not wanting to groom herself. When we finally figured out why, we thought we were on the road to recovery. I really thought that she was going to improve. But not days after her appointment she took a sudden turn for the worst. Refusing to eat, refusing to drink, severe anemia, and a very low body temp. I wanted to do so much more for her.

Treatment was starting at 5k, and even if it worked, she would likely have kidney damage and be in chronic pain for the rest of her life. To pay off the rest of the bill is 306. To receive her ashes is 305.75. We are hoping to pay at least half, I have tonight to bring in a payment. All donations are going to be used to pay off my payment plan and receive her ashes so she can rest at peace at home. Anything would be helpful.
