Remembering Justin Price

Our beloved friend and brother Justin Price suddenly passed away recently, leaving us all bereft of a shining light in our world.
Justin was a loving soul, passionately curious and fiercely intelligent. His life touched so many in so many ways; through his love of music, art and dance; through his love of constructive and impassioned debate; but most importantly through the brand of loyal and abiding friendship that Justin's love radiated in the world.
Justin's memorial will be held on the 20th of October at Gray Area in Mission, San Francisco
Our aim is to hold a ceremony and display of art, flowers, and lights, to be followed by a healing Dance Celebration to remember Justin. We aim to be able to accommodate any and all from his community who wish to gather and remember this truly singular human being. Justin's community and radius of impact was large, and there will be costs in securing a venue and running this event.
We ask all who can afford to contribute to share any amount, however small, to go toward producing this event to memorialize and celebrate the life of our irreplaceable Justin.
Where will the funds go?
Primarily the funds will go to covering costs of the event. Gray Area is donating the space but we need to cover costs for staffing on an hourly basis. We also want to buy some flowers and other decorations to create a beautiful space in which to remember Justin.
Any additional funds beyond our target will go towards charities and causes Justin supported, including Girls Who Code.

(Please note that the venue is licensed so alcohol will be sold at the venue. You can't bring your own, unfortunately.)
