Remembering Julio Bueta

Donation protected
Julio Garcia Bueta was born on July 4,1953 in Nagcarlan Laguna, Philippines. He was the youngest child of Consolacion Garcia.

At an early age, Julio wanted to be independent. He left home after graduating high school and became a working college student. He was street smart, hardworking, very friendly, and charismatic to others. He worked his way up and accomplished many things in his years. He met and helped a lot of people.

He was a good and loving husband, a great provider, a very loving father to his 4 daughters, and a loving grand papi to his 3 grand babies, soon to be 4 with a granddaughter on the way.

He was a dreamer and at the same time a doer; a workaholic in the truest sense. He loved to tell stories about life and experiences and working with people of any background. He loved his coworkers to the core and in return, people loved and respected him. He was a true and loyal friend to everyone and loved to help anybody in any way he can.

Julio Garcia Bueta passed away on March 29, 2020 due to multiple organ failure after a two-week battle in the ICU with Covid-19 that the doctors suspected that he contracted from South Korea during the flight back to Chicago from the Philippines. His wife, Tina, was able to see him during his last 2 hours on earth while her daughters were on video conference call in the hospital parking lot. He passed so peacefully, as if he just went to sleep after hearing the family say their goodbyes.

Our whole family is still trying to comprehend everything that’s going on.... But after surrendering and trusting everything to God, we know that this pandemic will fall into place. Everyone please be safe, because the battle of the human race is not yet over. God Bless us all.

Julio’s memorial service will be scheduled at a later time and The Bueta family will inform everyone, once a date has been set.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Bueta family to help with the medical cost and funeral services here.

Thank you.
