Remembering Joshua Isaac Dewell:
On Friday, June 12, 2020 at 3:09 PM, the love of my life lost his life when his liver and kidneys failed. Born on April 17th, 1991, Josh was more than words can describe. If you knew him, you'd understand when I say there is no one like Josh Dewell. It's hard to write down in such a small space, who he is and what defined him. He loved life! He loved making people smile. His whole goal in each day was to just make one person happy. He was strong and balanced, Josh knew how to get anything done. He dedicated his life to spreading the message of hope and the ability to change through music. Josh was apart of an amazing music family, that he loved so deeply. He wanted that to grow with him in his dream. He would work all day, hit practice, then go to a show or two just to make sure he knew everyone and was supporting his fellow band families. Then, he'd go home and do it all over again the next day. He loved his family, and my son Jackson more than anything. He wanted to grow together and have our own family some day. He changed his life for the better, and was hell bent on doing the same for others. He was a light in a dark world.
I am setting up this fundraiser to help his family with the cost of his cremation and memorial service. He leaves behind, his parents, two beautiful sisters, countless amazing cousins aunts and uncles, as well as loving grandparents. He also leaves behind myself and my son. Last but not least, he leaves behind a sea of fans, band families, friends and community that spreads around the world.
