Hi, my name is Ronald McSweaney. I am raising funds on behalf of my family for my beloved son, Joseph Ian McSweaney, who tragically passed away last Thursday. We are still in shock and heartbreak trying to process this sudden loss.

Joseph was only 31 years old and had such a bright future ahead of him. He was found deceased in his apartment, and his passing came completely unexpected. As a family, we are now facing the emotional devastation of losing him while also urgently trying to prepare for his funeral arrangements.

Joseph had a heart of gold and a way of shining his light on everyone around him. He was an extrovert who brought joy, laughter, and energy wherever he went. He loved deeply—especially his family. More than anything, Joseph wanted to belong, to succeed, and to make his family proud. He was dealing with so much in his own life, yet he never stopped trying to grow, excel, and move forward.

He loved rapping and expressing himself through music. He was an entrepreneur and a businessman by nature—creative, driven, and full of ideas. Joseph was loved by all who knew him, and his death has left a massive hole in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched.

At this time, we are urgently trying to raise funds to cover funeral and memorial expenses. We are waiting for the Coroner’s Office to release Joseph’s body, which could happen at any time, and we need to be financially prepared so we can lay him to rest with the dignity and love he deserves.
