Remembering Jose: A Hero's Last Gift

Our beloved Jose Alfonso Martinez Torres recently passed on 03/30/2025. My dad was a wonderful son, brother, father, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. My dad worked in construction; he was a framer. For as long as I can remember, he's always played soccer. His love for soccer was so great that I inherited it as well. I still remember the first time I kicked a ball, and he was there. He went to the United States to seek a better life. He was originally from Rio Verde, San Luis Potosí. I've always seen my dad as a hero. I've always seen him that way, but knowing that he's going to give life with the donation of his organs makes me see him as even more of a HERO.

We are all devastated by his loss and were not prepared for the costs of the funeral services. We want to give Jose Alfonso Martinez Torreshe memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the costs of funeral services. Any amount is helpful and highly appreciated. We want to raise $5,000 by 02/04/2024, however, we are grateful for any amount given.
