Hi everyone, my name is Ronny and I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my Grandma Irene and mom, Sonya, to raise money for end-of-life expenses for my Uncle Johnny Barr, or as I knew him, my Big Silly.

It is with a heavy heart that I share that John passed away on March 17th, 2025, at Saint Pete's Hospital in Olympia, WA.

He was admitted to the hospital on the 16th. Once admitted, the doctors discovered blood clots in his lungs and leg. He underwent surgery and came out feeling better than ever. Tragically, after a successful surgery, a different clot dislodged and took his life while still in the hospital.

He is remembered as a loving and caring son, brother, father, uncle, and friend to many.

The funds raised will help cover the costs of all end-of-life expenses, including cremation and celebration of life.
