Hello, my name is Billy Brady. I’m Joey Ivey‘s cousin. I feel strange even calling him my cousin because to me he was my brother. Joey lost his battle, but he gave a good fight, at 5:53 PM on January 22, 2026 the Lord called him home.

Due to these unforeseen circumstances, we are humbly requesting assistance in taking care of funeral arrangements. If you knew Joey, you knew that he wasn’t planning for such events, which kind of blows our mind because we’re talking about Joey Ivey, the notorious Joey Ivey. Growing up, it seemed like nothing could ever stop him, but death is a part of life and unfortunately for us, the Lord has taken him home.

So, we kindly ask, please, if you have anything that you could possibly donate to help towards the expense of his funeral arrangements. We greatly appreciate it. Rest in peace, Joey. You may be gone, but you’ll never be forgotten.
