We are heartbroken to share the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved uncle Joey Angel Avila.

He lost his life in East Dallas after being struck during a carjacking incident. He was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and our family is still trying to process this unimaginable loss.

If you knew him, you know how kind and loved he was. We will be sharing details for his funeral service soon so friends and family can come together to honor his life.
