Remembering Joe: A Truly Kind Soul

Donation protected
Sadly, the world lost a good man yesterday. Joe Reinboldt was one of the kindest men I have ever known. This fund is a memorial to Joe's kindness and legacy. He will be greatly missed by not just his family but by everyone that has ever known Joe.
Joe was a treasure.

Joseph E. Reinboldt, 62, of Amissvile, VA, passed away on April 23, 2025. Born on August 2, 1962, Joe was a devoted husband, proud father of five, and a man who lived his life with purpose and heart.

Joe spent much of his career as an HVAC technician with Boland, earning a reputation for his expertise, problem-solving, and strong work ethic. After retiring from that field, he embarked on a second career at Digital Realty, where he served as a respected supervisor overseeing data center facilities there.

A lifelong outdoorsman, Joe found his greatest peace on the water or in the woods. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Joe was a faithful Catholic and a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Little Washington VA. He is survived by his beloved wife Kathryn Reinboldt, and his five children Mary, Anne, Virginia, Lee and Aidan.

A viewing for Joe will be on Tuesday 4/29 at 3:30pm-5:30pm at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Little Washington, VA, and the funeral mass will be on Wednesday 4/30 at 10am at the church. A reception will follow at Quièvremont Vineyard & Winery where friends and family are welcome to gather in celebration of Joe’s life.
