Remembering Jeremy: A Young Life Lost

Donation protected
My name is Krystle Villanueva and I am a Special Education Paraeducator at Rosamond High School. I am speaking on behalf of the Shymansky family and our Classroom.
Sadly, we lost our beloved student, Jeremy Shymansky from our Moderate/Severe Special Education Class. He was hospitalized at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles on March 4th for several weeks but unfortunately succumbed to his life long medical issues.
Jeremy Shymansky was only 16 years old and a Junior at Rosamond High School but been apart of the Southern Kern Unified School District family since Kindergarten. He was nonverbal but even though he could not speak, his gestures touched many lives of others and his expressive blue eyes here on campus and the entire school district. He loved bubbles being blown, people watching, loved blonde and redhead ladies. His favorite movies were “Up”, “Monster’s Inc.”, and “Toy Story”. Every time our class hears the theme song from the movie “Up”, we always think of Jeremy.
His grandparents, Steve and Debbie Shymansky, were his main caregivers. His grandfather, Steve, is a retired veteran from the military. He is also survived by his grandmother, mother, brother, and aunt. His family is lost without him and in dire need of the community's help.
We will miss Jeremy deeply in our class and it hasn’t been the same without him.
Please help us and his family lay Jeremy to rest.
Thank you for your support.
