Our dear friend and colleague, Jennifer Friedman Ackerman, passed away just after midnight on July 29, 2021.

Jennifer joined Compass in June 2018 after serving Virginia Cook for many years. As many of you know, Jennifer has been a mainstay in the Lake Highlands and East Dallas communities for a decade or more, serving her clients. That said, Jennifer worked tirelessly for her clients; passionately and meticulously pursuing every detail in ways that only Jenn could do - fiercely protective, loyal and diligent. As a business partner, Jennifer worked alongside many of you, our agents and staff, every day just to make the business better, more transparent and always improving.

Jennifer was tough, deliberate and thorough - she challenged our team each and every day to just…be better.

Jennifer was fair, impartial, kind….just a light in our business.

This is a devastating loss to our community, to our Compass Family. I know that you would have loved to know her.This fund will be delivered to Jon, Jennifer's rock and life partner to the benefit of their daughter, Harper.
