On February 14, 2021, Jed Ladd passed away with grace and dignity holding the hands of his three daughters . Jed was taken from this earth far too soon, but will be remembered by his children, grandchildren and hundreds of people scattered across the globe. Jed was a pillar of the Arvada community and gave back every chance he could whether it was donating to local non-profits or helping to host the 9News Health Fair.
We are raising money to honor his memory here in Arvada and back home in Milo, Maine. Jed wanted a bench with a plaque in Arvada at the local park where he walked daily with his dog, Gizmo. He wanted a place where his Colorado friends and family could visit at any time to remember him. He also wanted his ashes buried in the family plot in Milo, Maine. Finally, he wanted a large party to celebrate his life.
We are fundraising for his burial costs, memorial bench, headstone and celebration of life, which will take place when it is safe to gather. If you choose not to donate via Go Fund Me, you can contact Kristin, his daughter who can collect check donations.
