Remembering Jay "Z" Szczoczarz

On September 16, 2021, Jay “Z” Szczoczarz passed away after a brief and difficult illness. There are so many words that can be used to describe Jay Z: loving husband, caring father, adored brother and son, artist, fixer of all things, and life of the party. For those of you that know Jay, he leaves behind a large, loving family, including four young children, one being his 11-year old daughter, Kazzie.

Over the years, Jay has been a mentor and friend to so many people. Friends and relatives alike can attest to the fact that he is the true definition of “Gentle Giant”. He was always willing to put others before himself and always made sure there was fun to be had by all.

We have already received such an outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. So many of our generous friends and family asked how they can help, so we decided to set up a GoFundMe in Jay’s honor to assist with medical expenses, funeral costs, and financial / educational expenses for his children. We appreciate all of you, and please be sure to leave your memories of Jay with us.

Jay gave his whole life to others. He was truly one of the most well-loved, kind-hearted people on the planet. The number of people that were touched by Jay’s light is truly immeasurable. Thank you all for your time, love, and support for our “Z” family. We appreciate it more than you know.
