Remembering Jason Weidenkeller: Memorial Bench Fund

Donation protected
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Weidenkeller on Saturday, May 17th, 2025.

Jason bravely fought an aggressive form of brain cancer for over two years. During that time, his spirit never wavered. Jason continued to impress us all with his strength and determination, and he displayed a level of resilience that is rarely seen. He continued to show up for everyone in his life, no matter what hardships he was facing.

Jason proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Throughout his remarkable career, he steadfastly upheld the Air Force Core Values and his personal principles, earning numerous awards for his superior performance, fitness, and community service. He exemplified what it means to be a true leader.

Jason is survived by his wife Ashley, his mother Bonnie, and his sister Katie.

In honor of his life and legacy, we are raising funds to establish a memorial site. We are working with the local government of Oʻahu to purchase and install a bench in memory of Jason. This will give friends and family a peaceful place to go and remember Jason. Any additional funds will be donated to a charity of the family’s choosing. Jason will be dearly missed and we thank you for your support.
