In Loving Memory of Janessa Gonzalez ❤️
On August 31st, our family experienced a heartbreak that no family should ever have to endure. Our beloved niece Janessa Gonzalez tragically passed away and was reunited with the Lord. We are still trying to process the unimaginable pain of losing such a beautiful young soul far too soon.
Janessa was 12 years old, just nine days shy of her 13th birthday. She was the second oldest of six children and held such a special place in her family. Her brothers and sisters are now having to face life without their sister, and there are no words that can truly describe the emptiness her passing has left behind.
Janessa was full of life, personality, and so much love. She was bright, funny, and definitely had a sassy side that made her uniquely Janessa. Anyone who knew her knew that she had a presence that could light up a room. She loved babies and had such a sweet, nurturing heart. She especially loved carrying around her baby dolls, holding them in her arms and caring for them as though they were her own.Janessa was one of a kind. She was a whole character funny, loving, stubborn, sweet, and always trying to help somebody. once she started talking, she could talk your ear off. She had so much personality and so much life in her. The doctors told our sister that Janessa would never walk or talk, but Janessa didn’t listen. She showed them, she fought harder than anyone could have imagined and did things they said she would never do. She proved them wrong just by being Janessa. we’re all so proud of you baby girl. I’m proud of every milestone, every battle you fought, every obstacle you overcame, and every person you touched along the way.
There are so many little things about Janessa that our family will miss—the sound of her voice, her smile, her personality, and simply having her here with us. She should have been getting ready to celebrate her 13th birthday, making memories with her family, and continuing to grow into the beautiful young woman she was meant to become. Instead, we are left with memories, photographs, and a lifetime of love for a daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, and friend who will never be forgotten.
Our family is asking for help during this devastating time as we navigate the unexpected expenses that come with losing Janessa. No family is ever prepared to say goodbye to a child, especially so suddenly and so young. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would be deeply appreciated and will help ease some of the financial burden while our family focuses on grieving and being there for one another.
If you are unable to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser, keeping our family in your prayers, and helping us keep Janessa’s memory and beautiful spirit alive means more to us than we could ever express.
Rest peacefully, Janessa. You will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be a part of our family. Until we meet again. ️
