Remembering Jake Eddington

Jake Eddington was a friend to all. Always trying to do the right thing, never for himself but for others around him. He just wanted his family to be happy. And he never let his own personal suffering get in the way of helping others.
Jake made a lot of friends and earned every bit of the respect he got from others through his tireless efforts and willingness to pitch in, even when he was already in over his own head. It is in the mundane tasks, that Jake showed his love for others most. Staying up for a 2AM load of laundry; Putting in extended hours picking up extra loads at work; Helping with the homework; Making everyone had dinner; Getting up super early to make sure everyone was ready for the day ahead; Driving his daughter to school in Garner ahead of a commute to Durham. All without complaint and ahead of taking care of himself. Jake was a father, provider, and selfless soul to his end.
Jake suffered an apparent heart attack in the early morning hours of November 1st, taking him way too soon.
Jake is survived by his wife Fancye and his daughter Onna.
A string of misfortunes has compounded an already bad financial situation. Jake's wife had a car accident, suffered another accident at work, and also needed emergency back surgery. Jake took on the duties to help his family as best he could, but having been recently let go from his place of work for 20 years, he only had found temporary positions, and had no life insurance. The debt from medical needs caused an already direly tight financial situation.
With Jake's passing, the family isn't sure how to handle the cremation costs, much less the bills and living expenses they already have.
Whatever monetary support you can muster please do! Every little bit will help.
