Jaime “Jimmy” Andrade was a devoted father, loving husband, and cherished friend to many. While he was a consummate professional in his career, many may not have known that his true passion was music—an art he pursued with exceptional talent and dedication.
Jimmy was an accomplished and widely respected musician, a gifted bassist with decades of experience across rock, blues, and jazz. He was especially admired for his deep understanding of jazz and blues, his expressive sound, and a musical “groove” that set him apart. Music was not just a hobby for Jimmy; it was a lifelong pursuit and an essential part of who he was.
Professionally, Jaime worked in the IT field throughout the Juárez and El Paso region, where he made a lasting impact as a mentor and colleague. He guided, developed, and inspired many along the way. Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, Jaime was a hardworking perfectionist who approached every task, process, and project with care, pride, and a commitment to excellence—always leaving things better than he found them.
Beyond his professional and musical achievements, Jimmy will be remembered most for his character. He was humble, kind, and deeply professional, generous with his knowledge, warm with everyone he met, and rarely seen without a smile.
Tragically, Jaime passed away at the age of 56. His passing has left a profound void in the lives of his family, his friends, and the local music and professional communities who were fortunate to know him.
This GoFundMe has been created to support his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time and to honor the life, legacy, and memory of an extraordinary musician—and an even more extraordinary human being.
Rest in peace, Jimmy Andrade.
