Remembering Jaden: A Family's Loss

Donation protected
It is with broken hearts and unimaginable grief that we share the passing of Jaden Smith, who died by suicide at just 17 years old. Jaden graduated from Gilbert High School in May 2025 and had scholarships to continue his education at DMACC in forensics or criminal psychology.

Jaden was a kind, bright, and deeply loved young man. He was a son, a brother, a nephew, a friend, and a light to so many who knew him. Despite the love surrounding him, Jaden struggled silently with a pain we can only begin to understand.

This is a tragedy that no family should ever have to face. Everyone is devastated, heartbroken, and overwhelmed. As we try to process this loss, we are also faced with the unexpected financial burden of planning a memorial that honors his life with the dignity and love he deserves.

Please help my sister and her husband, Fay and Patty Smith, cover the funeral and memorial costs. Every donation—no matter the size—means the world to our family during this difficult time. Your kindness will help us lay Jaden to rest and begin the long journey of healing.

If you are not able to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping our family in your thoughts. And please, check in on those you love. Mental health struggles are often invisible—compassion and conversation can truly save lives.

Thank you for your support, love, and prayers.
