Remembering Ilijah-Tafari aka Indo2x: Support His Legacy

Peace and Blessings to you. I am Janette Yancey, mother of Ilijah-Tafari also known as the artist, Indo2x, particularly in the music world. My son suddenly died in his sleep this past Friday, May 3 at 20 years of age. The cause of death is unknown at this time.

This tragedy is a blow to the hearts, minds & spirits of his family, friends and community. Ilijah was my first born, brother to many youths beyond his bloodline, friend, leader; a brilliant young man, well read, well spoken, creative, caring, hard working, outspoken rising star. His short life touched and changed the lives of many, many people through his good heart, his music, his work ethic, and his good vibes. Some have said he was before his time, a legend, a beautiful soul. Countless people are feeling a massive amount of pain due to his loss, words fall short of expression. My heart is slightly lifted because I know he made an impact in the lives of many people. God is comforting our immediate family with a supportive hedge of protection and outpouring of love from our extended family and friends.

We are currently planning funeral services for this Saturday afternoon, possibly in Newark, NJ. All details regarding the same will be updated here once confirmed and finalized.
