Ian Simmonds left us far too early, passing away on December 23rd, leaving behind 2 lovely, young daughters Alicia and Macie. This sad anniversary will soon upon us along with a Christmas without their Dad.

We wanted to do something to help the family and raise some funds for his girls. Ian spent a large majority of his time working in London and grew up in Welwyn Garden City. We thought that a walk into London from Welwyn Garden City along the Lea Valley walk, a challenging 50km route, in one day to raise funds for his daughters would be a fitting challenge.

So, if you can spare the odd £10 or so, it would be appreciated by the family.

Walking the 50km on Saturday 20 September will be Martin & Nikki Cooper, John & Clare Armstrong & Vicky Beare with Paul Beare in the support van!
