Hello, my name is Geneeva, I am the youngest daughter of Hilda Benavides. She is remembered by two other older daughters, and an older son, and 8 grandchildren. My mother was the greatest mom ever. We are starting this fund as she is nearing the end of her life. We have no funds to cover the costs of cremation and services. Anything helps.
My mom had a beautiful life, she was always strong and independent. She threw us amazing birthday parties when we were younger. Every year it never fails, she loves to celebrate the holidays. She’s the life of the holidays. She enjoyed dressing up, doing her makeup, normal lady like things, but extra in her own way.
she does have 6 other siblings on her mother’s side, and another 6 other siblings on her father’s side. She is one of many.
unfortunately in 2012, my mother suffered a stroke, and had life saving surgery had to stop a blood clot going to her brain, leaving her alive, yet quadriplegic. She was also diagnosed with a super rare disease called Wegener’s.
since then, she has been restricted and not living life how she wants. either way, mother is super strong and continues to fight for her life no matter what. Since 2012 she has decided to live her life fully in the best way that she can.
for the past two years she has been fighting pneumonia with back to back extended hospitalizations. This year, she has decided she has lived a good life, and Is tired of fighting.
We are respecting her wishes. She will never be forgotten. Hilda is 53 years old, the strongest, beautiful, resilient woman I know.
