It’s hard to find the words right now, but my heart needs to speak.
On Monday, we lost my beautiful sister-in-law, and the world feels dimmer without her in it. She wasn’t just family—she was light. The kind of light that filled a room before she even said a word. Her energy was magnetic, her laugh unforgettable, and her spirit... pure gold.
She was like a big, bold sunflower—always turning toward the light, always being the light. She brought joy wherever she went. She could lift your mood with just one look or word. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved.
To our kids, she wasn’t just “auntie”—she was a second mom, a best friend, a playmate, a protector, and a safe place. She showed up for every moment, big or small, and loved them with her whole heart. Watching her with them was a blessing I’ll cherish forever.
She loved deeply, laughed loudly, and lived fully. The way she danced through life, even in the hard times, was inspiring. Her strength, her sass, her kindness, her faith—it was all wrapped up in the most beautiful soul I’ve ever known.
We are completely heartbroken, but we are also grateful—grateful that we got to love her and be loved by her. Please keep our family in your prayers as we hold each other close and try to navigate a world without her shining presence.
Rest easy, Queen. You were one of a kind. Your light will never fade in our hearts.
She is survived by her mom, disabled spouse, and two dogs. Who is now navigating how to take care of her final expenses and to pay off the house loan so her spouse has somewhere to stay. Our sister-in-law passing suddenly at 39 of natural causes and we we're not financially equipped and her spouse is not taking this very well.
There's so much to take care of there was no plan for this nor was there monies set aside for such a tragedy.
