*I am Henry and Beth’s niece, organizing this fundraiser with funds to be distributed to Beth.

On January 3, the UBE community lost a beloved member. Henry Kolodziejczak, affectionately known as “The Happy Hippie,” was a beacon of positivity, always waving and flashing the peace sign to everyone passing by his home on Bridgeton Hill.

Henry was a proud Marine who honorably served in Vietnam. Despite their challenges, Henry and his wife, Beth, lived with humility and kindness, even as financial struggles were a constant reality due to their disabilities.

Now, as Beth faces the heartbreak of Henry’s passing, we are coming together to support her not only with final expenses but also to assist with her future living expenses as she navigates this difficult time.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in helping Beth and honoring the memory of the man who brought so much joy to others.
