Remembering Heather: A Daughter, A Mother
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ashley.
My mother Heather Lourie Boedeker-Klockars has gone to heaven.
She passed due to hypothermia from the harsh weather conditions that we've been experiencing in Portland as of late.
I am her youngest daughter. She leaves behind her eldest daughter Diamond, her grandchildren, her sister Nyah, and all her family members and friends.
She is now with her father Terry and mother Betty.
Heather made friends & acquired new "family members", constantly.
Heather always saw the good in people.
She was a free-spirit, from a young age until her passing.
My mother loved her family, especially her father Terry. He raised her as an only parent and tried his best to give her a good childhood.
She was smart, not in a book-smart way, but in a humble, knowing-through-lived experiences kind of way.
Heather had an undeniably good heart, sadly, there was a lot of hurt trapped there as well. Unfortunately, addiction saw the best of my mother.
When she was sober,
Heather was funny, bubbly, outgoing, and kind.
I would love to remember my mama that way.
I hope you can find it in your hearts to help with the cremation of our mother.
Both Diamond and I are only parents and we do not have the financial means to be able to do so at this time.
All help is greatly appreciated. God Bless.
