Remembering @headgeekben Ben Rainer

Tax deductible
On December 29, 2022, Ben Rainer passed away from an impossibly difficult genetic illness. Familial Dysautonomia (FD).

He showed up for work everyday and preferred being with his co-workers, leaving his illness out of the conversation. He did not let FD define him.

Ben worked in the Entertainment Industry, focusing his interests on Marvel Comic Movies & TV, Sci-Fi and Comedy. He was the creator, producer and guest of many YouTube channels, with a social media presence that reached people all over the USA, Canada, New Zealand and Israel. Ben's sharp mind and wit will be sorely missed. He was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. His kindness and strength of character were exceeded only by his compassion for others and were truly his superpowers.

Ben will be missed.
As he was loved.
A lot.

Mission: To raise funds and operate programs to pursue the best possible medical treatment, scientific research, public education and social services for the benefit of those affected with or at risk for familial dysautonomia.

The FD Foundation strives to make life better for people living with FD.
