Remembering Harriet's Legacy of Love: Support Funeral Costs
Donation protected
My name is Brittany. I am doing this GoFundMe for my grandma, Harriet Manning, who has just passed away.
On April 12th, she had a stroke at home. She was playing cards and talking when all of a sudden, the left side of her face started dropping. Knew exactly what was happening and called 911. They scanned her brain a few times for different test. She had a blood clot in her brain. Her whole left side was paralyzed. They gave her meds to try and dissolve the clot. They also put a feeding tube in. The next day, April 13th, she was moved into hospice care for end of life. There were no changes. Harriet Manning ended up passing away April 20th.
Harriet Manning was born in Illinois. She and her husband, Marvin Manning, moved to Naples, Florida, in 1967. Harriet was a charter member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Golden Gate, FL. She taught school for 45 years, her specialty being chorus. After retiring, she was involved with Grace Lutheran Preschool for 8 years. She loved to read, work on crafts, travel, play the piano, and spend time with her family.
For those wanting to support the family during this difficult time, please consider donating. I am asking for help with funeral arrangements and expenses, such as, flowers, videos, burial and services. Anything will help. Monnie (what the grandkids called her) will be missed dearly. We love you down to the wormies and up to heaven!
