Remembering Gyorgy (Gyuri) Kovács

After a long battle with a genetic heart condition, Gyorgy (Gyuri) Kovács passed away on January 15, 2024.

He was a loving husband of Kovács Ibolya for 30 years. Devoted father of Gyurka, Pisti, Bori, and Anna. Dear son of Kovács Viktoria, and brother to Eniko and Dalma. Gyuri was a committed member of the Hungarian Community in Ottawa and is remembered by many, both young and old.

Gyuri was a hard working man, putting his family first and providing for them. This fundraiser is to help offset some of the funeral costs that have fallen on the mourning family. We are asking for donations to support his grieving widow and children. All donations will go directly to the family.

Gyuri will be dearly missed.
