Remembering Greg by supporting his children
Donation protected
Gregory David Chown was born in Toronto and moved to Calgary in 1997 after graduating from Etobicoke School of the Arts and attending Trent University. His father, Peter, taught him carpentry skills growing up at the family cottage on Long Lake, Ontario – Greg loved to build things. He turned this early apprenticeship with his dad into a 25-year career building sets in the film, television, and theatre industry as a carpenter and partner at F&D Scene Changes Ltd. In addition to being passionate about his work, Greg loved cooking, gardening, art, music of all kinds, traveling anywhere sunny, and cheering on his beloved Montreal Canadiens. As a doting father, he will be remembered for his sense of humor, fun, and love of life. He is survived by his sister, Sara Chown, his neice and nephew Taylor and Carson, his mother, Sharon Chown and his two beautiful children, Mason and Melody.
We are asking for donations in lieu of flowers to be put towards a fund for his children aged 7 and 16 to assist with their education, daycare and expenses.
Thank you so much for your support.
