Help Us Carry Forward His Dream for His Daughter
Some losses are impossible to put into words.
We are heartbroken to share the sudden and unexpected passing of a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend—a man who left this world far too young, and far too soon, Gurinder Singh Grewal (Gogi).
Gogi was a proud Sikh, raised in Canada, from Punjabi heritage, who carried with him the values of family, seva (service), loyalty, humility, and love. Family was at the centre of his world. He was a dedicated father who worked hard to give his daughter a good life and, like any loving parent, dreamed of seeing her grow, succeed, and build a bright future of her own.
He was so much more than a father.
He was the uncle who fiercely loved his nieces and nephews and would go to extraordinary lengths for them. He was a brother and family member who could always be counted on. He was a loyal and devoted friend—the kind of person who showed up, stood beside you, celebrated your wins, and remained in your corner through good times and difficult ones.
He gave so much of himself to the people he loved.
And now, the people who loved him are left trying to navigate a future they never imagined having to face without him.
We are asking our family, friends, community, and anyone whose heart has been touched by Gogi to help establish an educational fund for his daughter. The goal is to provide her with financial support for her education and give her one less burden to carry as she grows into the future her father wanted so much for her.
Every donation, regardless of size, is an act of love. It is a way of saying: Your father mattered. You are not alone. Your future matters to us, too.
For those who knew him, we hope this fundraiser can become a reflection of the man he was—a man who loved deeply, protected fiercely, gave generously, and placed his family above all else.
For those who did not have the privilege of knowing him, we simply ask that you help us honour the life of a man who was taken far too soon.
If you are able to contribute, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you cannot, sharing this fundraiser with others is an equally meaningful way to help.
In times of unimaginable loss, it is the strength of family, friends, and community that carries us forward. We hope we can come together now to surround his daughter with that same love and support.
His time with us was far too short. His love for his daughter was immeasurable.
Let us help make sure that love continues to shape her future.
May Waheguru (God) bless his soul, and may his memory live on through the daughter he loved so dearly.
