On Monday, August 4th, 2025, our beloved Ghost passed away unexpectedly at just 45 years old from a pulmonary embolism. There were no symptoms, no warning — and the shock of his sudden loss has left all of us heartbroken and struggling to process what’s happened. It still doesn’t feel real.

Those who knew Ghost know that he was truly a gift on this earth. He was the most loving and kind soul, and we are so grateful for the years and memories we shared with him. He was an artist, an aspiring filmmaker, and someone who lived humbly but touched so many with his presence. Ghost deeply loved his family — his kids were the center of his world, and he helped raise his nieces and nephews with the same devotion and care. Nothing in this world brought him greater joy than his love for God, acting and filmmaking, and being the best support for his family that he could. It was important to me to show, through pictures, the wonderful memories and times we shared as a family. I hope you can see his radiating spirit shining through them.

Many people have reached out asking how they could help. We lived a simple life full of love and compassion, and his sudden passing has left our family facing both emotional and financial challenges as we work to honor him and support one another — especially Starlett, who is entering her sophomore year of high school. The day we found out about his death was also the day we were moving, which has only added to the heaviness. We are doing our best to cope with this loss and deeply appreciate your patience, grace, and understanding during this difficult time.

We will hold Ghost’s funeral service on Tuesday, August 19th, at West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064. The viewing will be from 12–2pm, followed by the service from 2–4pm. Everyone is welcome to please come and go to pay their respects.
